Welcome to the RUSH Technology website. RUSH Technology is a manufacturing methodology developed by Ron Pleasant, President of Pleasant Precision, Inc. and Modular Mold Systems to help mold manufacturers and molders deliver more value to their customers by increasing the efficiency in their shops and delivering quality product faster.
Modular Mold Systems, a producer of standard interchangeable insert molding systems and Makino, a world leader in high speed machining centers, have developed a partnership to deliver cutting edge tools and techniques to mold manufacturers, processors and OEM's in the plastics industry. Our objective is to arm U.S. manufacturers with the knowledge to help increase their survival in a current globally competitive market.
Our industry has always been under pressure to produce products faster and at lower cost. There is hope of competing, however, U.S companies need to change the way they currently approach manufacturing. Our RUSH Team is teaching industry leaders how to implement RUSH Technology.
RUSH Technology - "Rapid Use of Shop Hours" matches lean manufacturing concepts, advanced processes, and innovative molding and machining solutions to dramatically compress the production time of injection molded parts. RUSH Technology is a demonstration of extremely efficient manufacturing processes starting from the product design and flowing through-out the manufacturing process. The RUSH methodology integrates "Best of Class" technologies and collaborates all levels of product manufacturing for the purpose of passing value through an organization while reducing waste. The implementation of RUSH Technology, driven by the principles of Lean Thinking, can deliver real value to U.S manufacturers and their customers.
